Project Overview

The project is a new elephant exhibit including new elephant barn, a renovated hoof-stock building, and additional elephant viewing and training areas. Begun in 2017 set to open in 2019, the exhibit will also include new viewing areas, elephant show seating, multiple elephant play areas, elephant shade structures, and an elephant pool.

Size of Project:

1.6 Acre Elephant Area and a 20,000 sq. foot Elephant Care Center

Structural Steel Used:

115 tons of structural steel and 115 tons misc. metals and structures including new elephant barn structure, 4 shade structures including a 40’ umbrella & heated slab, 12’ tall cable railing surrounding entire elephant yard, all elephant pen railing & bollards, 40’ tether ball truss, and decorative columns & supports.
